Stucco Installation & Repair in the Lehigh Valley, PA

Traditional three-coat stucco and expert repairs — mixed right, floated true, and built to shed water for decades.

About This Service

Period-correct craftsmanship, done right the first time.

Stucco is one of the most beautiful and durable exterior finishes in the Lehigh Valley — when it's done right. Rome Masonry installs traditional three-coat stucco on new construction and additions, and repairs cracked, hollow or water-damaged stucco on existing homes. We prep the substrate, install proper lath and weather barrier, and hand-float the finish coat so the wall sheds water instead of holding it.

Serving Center Valley, the Lehigh Valley, Lehigh County and surrounding towns within a 30-mile radius.

FAQ

Straight answers.

Have a different question? Call (484) 515-7989 — Matthew answers the phone.

Can you repair cracks in my existing stucco?+
Yes. We diagnose whether cracks are cosmetic (hairline shrinkage) or structural (moving substrate, missing flashing) and repair accordingly — patching, re-coating and color-matching so the fix blends into the wall.
What's the difference between traditional and synthetic stucco?+
Traditional (three-coat) stucco is cement-based, breathable and lasts generations when properly installed. Synthetic (EIFS) is foam-backed and can trap moisture if not detailed correctly. We specialize in traditional stucco for exactly that reason.
Can you match the color of my existing stucco?+
In most cases, yes. We custom-tint finish coats and blend patch areas so repairs don't stand out against the surrounding wall.
How long does stucco last?+
Properly installed traditional stucco easily lasts 50–80+ years. The most common failures come from flashing and drainage issues — not the stucco itself — which is why we correct those details during any repair.
